Shanu Hinduja And Swiss Banque Privée: Step into the Future

The European banking sector is witnessing a remarkable change, especially when artificial intelligence is taking over the industry, pretty much like it is doing with any other sector, in ways humans did not imagine. While job cuts are a major setback, a positive outlook is necessary because after every storm, there is dawn. The S.P. Hinduja Banque Privee is a Swiss private bank that runs under the patronage of the Indian-origin Hinduja Family, owners of the multi-billion-dollar Hinduja Group. The bank itself went identity transformation when its then CEO, Karam Hinduja, rebranded the institution to its current name. Although Karam stepped down to help the group with other nuances of the family business, his mother, Shanu Hinduja, continues to actively contribute as she sits as the Chair of S.P. Hinduja Banque Privee.

Advanced Banking System

It appears that Shanu Hinduja and other dignitaries in their Swiss bank may have realized the urgent need to upgrade their digital banking infrastructure. This led to the bank moving from its ERI’s Olympic core banking system to its rival vendor, Avaloq Banking Suite. With this change, the bank may be hoping that its clientele, mostly ultra HNIs, experience futuristic banking facilities when availing their services that range from investment banking, asset and wealth management, private banking, corporate advisory services, among many others.

The Hinduja Family - more than what you know

When it comes to improving the livelihood of marginalized communities, no one knows how to do it better than the prestigious Hinduja Family. Through its philanthropy arm, the Hinduja Foundation, the family is continuing the Hinduja Group founder, late Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja’s legacy, who always strived and worked hard so that his able to support and uplift society’s neediest sections.

The latest contributions of the Hinduja Foundation are noteworthy as it involves publishing a book that studies ancient Indian coins that date back to 3000 BCE. While many history lovers and numismatists may be looking forward to having it on their shelf, the book is by default an ode to the rich history and culture that India possesses. Not just that, the Hinduja Foundation is always a step ahead when it comes to tending to more urgent social causes. Be it improving the infrastructure of some of India’s remotest schools and empowering them with modern facilities, or launching mobility vans that are equipped with several healthcare resources, a lot can be learnt from the foundation’s efforts.
